Lumberjacks Firewood Monthly Review Competition

Terms and Conditions

Promoter

The promoter is Lumberjacks Firewood (“Promoter”), operating in Australia.

Eligibility

1. Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older.
2. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
3. Entrants must reside within the Promoter’s standard delivery area to be eligible to receive the prize.

Competition Period

• The competition is an ongoing monthly promotion.
• All eligible reviews submitted to Lumberjacks Firewood remain active entries in future draws unless:
  • The entrant has previously won the competition; or
  • The review is found to be fraudulent, misleading, or otherwise in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
• One winner will be drawn on the 15th day of each calendar month. If the 15th falls on a weekend or public holiday, the draw may be conducted on the next business day.
• Previous competition winners are not eligible to win again.

How to Enter

• To enter, participants must submit a genuine review of Lumberjacks Firewood via:
  • Google Reviews; or
  • Any other review platform specified by the Promoter.
• Reviews must be based on the entrant’s genuine experience with the Promoter’s products or services.
• There is no limit to the number of eligible reviews that may be submitted by a participant, provided each review complies with the review platform’s policies and these Terms and Conditions.
• No purchase is necessary to enter.

Prize

• One winner will be selected each month.
• The prize consists of one (1) cubic metre (1m³) of mixed species firewood delivered within the Promoter’s standard delivery area.
• The prize value will vary according to the current retail price of firewood.
• The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

Winner Selection

• The winner will be selected by random draw on or about the 15th day of each month from all eligible entries retained in the competition pool.
• The draw may be conducted electronically or at the Promoter’s business premises.
• The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Winner Notification

• The winner will be contacted using the contact details available through their review profile or other information voluntarily provided.
• The winner’s first name and suburb may be published on the Promoter’s website and social media channels.
• If the winner cannot be contacted within 14 days, the Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw.

Reviews and Platform Independence

• Entry into the competition is available regardless of whether a review is positive, neutral or negative.
• Participants are not required to provide a positive review to enter or win.
• This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Google or any other review platform.

Privacy

• Personal information collected will only be used for administering the competition and delivering prizes.
• The Promoter will handle personal information in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws.
• Entrants may request access to their personal information by contacting the Promoter.

Liability

• To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for technical failures, lost or misdirected entries, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
• Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

General

• The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries.
• The Promoter may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or breaches these Terms and Conditions.
• The Promoter may amend, suspend or cancel the competition where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, subject to applicable laws.
• Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
